It has been over a year since my last entry, but i decided that i might as well try my hand at keeping a live journal once again even if it's on and off and noone actually reads it. People say they're good for organizing thoughts dealing with daily frustrations and if nothing else are worth keeping for posterity and filling out silly meaningless quizes.Soundtrack: Madona - La Isla Bonita So for a recap on my life: These days I'm the Treasure and Senator for my residence area South Lake Village, in the Residence Hall Association (RHA), which keeps me some what occupied outside of school work and friends, and I'm enjoying it very much. I've always enjoyed government inner workings and due process. Something about the process is reassuring. Maybe it comes from the way people seem to have an innate need give order to things much like nothing's real to them until it's named and categorized. Last year i studied abroad and lived extremely close to my girlfriend of 4 years, Hiart Urizar. I actually lived between 2 neighboring apartments with 7 to 8 girls, all of whom were amazing people whom I'm still in contact with. I had a great time with them and Hiart's more than hospitable family that I hung out there until mid August. My parents actually came to Spain to meet them and then we toured several areas in Europe, Mostly England with a little bit of Holland thrown in for good measure. In truth studying in Spain last year was so much fun I had to trake a break from it and go to China. Actually i was sort of dragged into it by my girlfriend and her family who didn't accept my declinations. Ironically enough i was the one who enjoyed it the most out of everyone there. They actually have no love for the asian cultures and almost abhor far eastern cuisine. Her father actully lost about 7 pounds on our one and half week trip. We took the basic tourist route:Bejing, Xian, Shanghai and Hang Zhou was thrown in to give a little variance to the trip. You can find all of the pictures you'd ever want on my Facebook or on one of my webshots galleries. Hiart is actually coming here for the first time 5 years for a few days during this Christmas Break. She and her parents will spend a few days in my home town then i'll be traveling down to NYC to be with them for their brief trip there. They've already booked guides and tours but they always like taking me along for the ride. I haven't had a good nights sleep since late June (while i was still in school in Spain) and recently I've actually had nightmares about everything goign completely wrong when Hiart and her parents arrive from Spain so silent prayers and fingers crossed Everyone! I think this 'brief' summary of the past couple monthes is enough of a post for right now. Hope Everyone's almost ready for the Holidats ... Because you can help me catch up for them!

So I know it's been a while since i've added anything at all but if 3 AM on the eve of moving all of my college gear out isn't a great time to update my livejournal i don't know what is.Soundtrack: Alizée - Je Pas Vingt Ans I decided to go along with my plans to study abroad a week or 2 ago, which means I'll be giving up the 3 best room mates I've ever been placed with for the opportunity to study spanish in the field for an entire semester (or more) in the same city as Hiart, who has been giving me a major headache ever since she started showing interest in helping me straighten things out concerning things like lodgings and classes. I said my good byes to my room mates a few days ago and have been holding the fort alone for the past day and 1/2 helping Jen move, visiting with Kent and Rich and watching Band of Brothers. I first got interested in seeing it after i saw 1/2 of the first installment during thanksgiving break and it was time well spent. I thought that they had good story superb cinematograhpy and kept true to history, though they did try to stir up emotions with the war vet's accounts of the episode installments in either the beginings or ends of each episode. While i was Travelign through Southern Spain with Hiart over the summer I sunddenly remembered that my grandfather had traveled through spain by himself at the age of 16 in 1929 and it dawned on me that he had traveled through the same streets that i was walking through just then except they would have been filled with people ling since dead and noone there could have possibly remembered him. infact the whole way they live must have been completely different from the everyday, Especially since spain was on the lower economic end of western Europe and was behind the times in the 1920s and 30s. Watching Band of Brothers made me feel similar feelings having been in many of the same places they were talking about over the summer and recognizing cities and monuments they had shown during the course of the series.seeing some of the foxhoels scenes also brought to mind the idea of my great grand father's being gassed by German soldiers and suffering in a bed ridden state for the following few years of his life. Wars suck and people who selflessly weather them for the sake of others are truly gods among men. (not meant to be politically charged towards any current events) Kent convinced me to get into www.thefacebook.com the other day. The lateest in a long line of time wasting internet club type sites .... like this, except more like Xanga in my eyes .... I hate it just as I hate Xanga. Wow it's late!!! i need sleep

Ok so i'm walking in Talbert the other day and this kid is the only other guy around. He was about 5'8" foot tall wearing brightly coolered clothes which looked so baggy he could have been wearing trash bags. he has a cd player in one hand and is just swinging the other at an angle so he takes up 1/2 of the hall and to top things off he's wearing sweat bands even though if he ever tried to do anything athletic in these clothes he'd fall flat on his face before breaking a sweat. So here he is making all of these spastic moves and humming along on and off THEN he starts shouting veruses "50 Cent in the Club," ..."Yea Boy Kepping it Real!!!" when i heard this i was ready to either break out laughing or take him by the shoulder and ask him to take a step back and look at himself.Soundtrack: Amazing Grace - Drop Kick Murphys (in rick's memory) what on earth does "Keeping it real" mean if you act like this guy? keeping it real is dead people. look at the rappers, they RENT the "bling" that they use in music videos and just go on about shallow things and they don't even sing or have any messages to their songs. Rap is as chilidish and hypocritical as the "Punk" whose style is based on the lack of care of what they look like but then either becomes a race to look weirder than anyone and everyone else or just another set style which is completely contradictory to that which they had originally set out to accomplish. Things i plan to do this week: study for Physics test not study for my Spanish test visit my Grandma Jo attend Rick's memorial services and funeral "They're *in* the computer?"

So Goals of today include reformatting the computer(sometihng i've been gunning for for some time), Homework and voting. i REALLY wanted to vote for a third party member but unfortunately they all SUCK!!!! so i am forced to vote for Kerry as he is the person who best represents my opinions.... I Don't Care about any of that damn war controversy - Bush is not a dictator nor the devil nor a zealot he's just a politician who gets tongue tied and manipulates statistics. if anyone is to blame for 2001 terrorism it would be Clinton for his approach during the 90s and the people who carried out his impeachment that hindered him.Soundtrack: Bush - Chemicals Between Us Oh, and objective numero uno is see spiderman 2 with sharnold forfree at the SU - anyone else interested? So i Spent 1/3 of the day in classes 1/3 trying to get my study abroad stuff straightened out and the last 1/3 and evening hours will be spent with Sharnold watching Troy then doing some EAS studying with him followed by Calc Home Work til 2am.... well at least i'm not idle....Soundtrack: Ezin Burua Makurtu - Urtz (Basque) it'll be Nice to ditch the country for a while if at all possible leave all you losers behind ... i mean miss all of you deeply. so today while waiting in line in capen to use one of the computers i loooked over and there was this posh chick curled up nest to the chair... i assume she's fixing the chair or looking for a contact lens... 5 minutes go by and she's still down there then the police show up ... turns out she's having a panic attack or something ... she stays down there the whole time and hands the officer everything without even looking at him. i do what i need to and leave because noone wants to stand and gawk at this broad... fast forward after lunch i come back to get my print outs and there are 2 officer vehicles and an ambulance outside Capen now (30 minutes later) i walk by to get my printo outs and she's atleast on a seat talking to a crowd of police officers and EMTs. I hope that noone died or robbed an on campus bank because these EMTs and officers were otherwise occupied with this kid.... i saw a junco hanging out over by the SU today, and you know what that means - cold weather and soon. i was so excited ... i know noone else is so Screw All of You! and it would appear that i did merely whack one of Ricks many look alike decoys... i hope you realize how numbered your days are my Fredonia Nemesis! if i were you i'd be counting down my final breathes right about now. "Oh yeah, listen and learn, sweetness. Abe Lincoln wanted to abolish slavery right? But who do you think made the powdered wigs and colored leg stockings worn by our country's early leaders? Mugatu! I've Killed Rick in fair combat. as i'm the good guy and bound by moral code i couldn't just use a simple decoy or trap, no, i was restrained to equal combat and although he used many ployes and traps i emerged on top without breaking a sweat. i insist if you do run into him in the next couple weeks it is not he. like saddam he most likely employed look alikes as decoys. So where did all of this work come from? all of a sudden i'm bogged down - i thought that i had a project due in Spanish today so i was up into the wee hours of the night translating soem essay full of words which i didn't even know in English. "perspicacity?!" sorry but i never even raised a finger to study for the SATs and when on Earth am i going to ever use that word in everyday Spanish? well anyways - turns out the teacher had pushed the due date back and so I'm playign the part of the living zombie (put that there for you Rick) today.Soundtrack: Memory - Sugarcult Even though the work load is building by the minute i am still Definitely going to see dodgeball tonight for free in the SU. who cares if i already saw it or that it's on my computer? i'm still going and I'm taking Sharnold with me. SO everybody's all abbout how the GOP has hijacked the idea of patriotism. they certainly didn't have it 5 years ago, know why? because back then they were whiney lil babies crying over the spilt milk of the Clinton Sex Scandal ... what was partiotic about those losers? they sucked! the difference is that this time they talk tough and the Left is being sucky this time around. Kerry totally flip flops and even though he's a decorated war hero who did hardcore Nam time and surfs and snow boards and owns Billions and loads of BLing-BLing he still comes off as a wuss who's supposed to appeal to the Blue-collared Red blooded Americans who can relate admire or envy him. All of the stars of hollywood ad musicians accross the boards can't raise Kerry's numbers. "Most important election of our lifetime" what the Hell is that supposed to mean?! wouldn't that have been the one before Bush got elected? i mean he's already got all of his vendettas out of the way now he'd just be going into overtime. who would we invade now? Reagan invaded Granada unillaterally and it was one of his proudest accomplishments. Also everyone relates their suffering through the 9/11 attacks with Bush because he was president and quite visible in the aftermath and gave the people what they wanted (except Bin Laden). Who the Hell would ever side with the French Germans and Russians anyways? i think their opposition only fueled the Bush wagon's engines. 2 of our most notorious enemies of the past 60 years and the Country which has wussed out ever since it's own revolution. too tired to write much more but on a completely different note i'm siding with Kerry over Bush for a number of reasons.

Rick told me i have until wednesday left to live. One thing i really need to start doing is visitng people - i've only stopped by 104k 2 or 3 times and went to south once just to get stood up but i plan to do more. why does everyone move so far away?.... i see more softmores than juniors these days. and everyone tells me i've lost weight (intruth i have lost 5 lb - not noticale though) i weigh a huge 182 lb. o well time for a good run before that essay gets finished (and by finished i mean started) maybe i'll squeaze some Basque studying in there.

Our room is so awesome we can't even go to sleep like normal people. we all retire to our beds at the same time and just shout at each other and make stupid jokes for at least an hour before falling asleep. we're such a group of 13 year old boys. studying's going alrght i guess ... i am really tired so have fun .... o i spent a week and a half trying to get my current song, or what ever it's called (música actual - i once changed my live journal settings to spanish and have been unable to revert it to english) "Dragostea Din Tei" = "Love of the Linden Tree" in Romanian Oh - out of our distinguished speakers this year we have: Janet Reno, Donald Trump (only one we have to pay for) and SALAMAN RUSHDIE!!!!! wow how dangerous is that? someone's head's going to roll for bringing him here.
